I love love love this home on Tenafly’s East Hill. From the day it was built I always love passing by this awesome design by architect James Paragano. I see this as Paragano’s best work in Tenafly or anywhere else in the area. His attention to the most minute detail is his trademark, and this home is no exception.
Cedar shingles with a slight curve out at the bottom of each floor separates the levels with grace. And the Frank Lloyd Wright-ish windows and roof-lines, take the usual and transform is in the unusual…but with amazing style. And check out the stone detail with the brick arch…and copper gutters and leaders. It’s a perfect from every angle.
My only complaint, is the ugly flu cap at the top of the brick chimney. But it doesn’t detract from my love of this home and the architecture.
